The solidarity of Font Blanca for the social integration of children with disabilities in Bhutan
THE SOLIDARITY OF “FONT BLANCA” FOR THE SOCIAL INTEGRATION OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES IN BHUTAN
Font Blanca not only are races. One of the aspects that take care with more love is the solidarity and it is carrying out a project of solidarity with Unicef Andorra to help children with disabilities in Bhutan, a country of South Asia located in the eastern part of the Himalayas.
Font Blanca works to provide these children with psychological or physical limitations to have a quality education in schools and other centers of learning.
It has a hundred teachers who will offer attention of the educational needs in the 20 districts that is Bhutan, with at least one school in each of them.
The project also includes, among other things, the creation of a base of indicators on children with disabilities in Bhutan which will be used for planning and program specified interventions, as well as, the provision of a strong intersectoral system for the early identification, diagnosis and referral of children with disabilities.
The project will last from 1 January 2018 to 31 December 2021 and is planning to provide assistance to about 6,000 children in early childhood centres and schools with programs of special educational needs, parents of children with disabilities.
