Jornet and Roux winners of the individual race in Arcalís

Kilian Jornet and Laëtitia Roux have been the winners of the Individual Race held this saturday in meteorological conditions that were uncertain until the last minute.

The spanish athlete ended the race with a time of 1h34:30 with 1:08 and 1:44 advance from french Xavier Gachet and italian Robert Antonioli.

The women podium, led by Laëtitia Roux from France, has been completed with her fellow countryman, the promise Axelle Mollaret and the spaniard Clàudia Galícia.

The strong wind gusts, registered the day before at the station, made the organizers consider an alternative circuit but finally, when the sun appeared, it was  decided to maintain the initial circuit with some modification that avoided edges and the port del Rat, recovering the lost gradient with a second run around the peak of Pereguils and its respective descent to the first Tristaina lake.
